Belleville’s Reverend Hal Wilson has passed away at the age of 83.
The reverend was known for his volunteer work around the community, with a long history as both a minister and volunteer at the Bridge Street Church.
He also held many volunteer positions outside the church, chaired the Christmas sharing program for over 26 years, and was previously named as The Children’s Foundation’s 2007 Guardian Angel.
Rev. Wilson passed on Saturday, just one day after entering hospice care. He is survived by his wife, two children, and five grandchildren.
