Film Street is set to be closed to through traffic from August 4th – 14th for sewer maintenance.
In a release, the City of Quinte West says the scheduled work is to accommodate essential storm and sanitary sewer infrastructure improvements.
Work will be completed in two phases:
- Phase 1: Aug. 4 – 7
Film Street will be closed to through traffic, open to local traffic only beginning Aug. 4 to Aug. 7, from Dundas Street West to north of Shuter Street.
This closure is required for storm sewer work at the Wilkins Street and Film Street intersection, as well as sanitary sewer work from Shuter Street to Sutcliffe Boulevard. - Phase 2: Aug. 10 – 14
Film Street will be closed to through traffic, open to local traffic only Aug. 10 to Aug. 14 from Sutcliffe Boulevard to McGill Street to complete additional storm sewer work on Film Street.
