The Picton Pirates have announced they have hired Lucas Hulton as the team’s new general manager.
Hulton has served as a scout and analyst with Top Draft Hockey Advisory, specializing in player recruitment, identification, and long term development projection.
He is also known for his role as the active Director of Business & Hockey Operations for Hulton Hockey.
Lucas is the son of longtime major junior head coach and former NHL staff member, Jim Hulton.

The Picton Pirates Junior Hockey Club is proud to announce the hiring of Lucas Hulton as the organization’s new General Manager, marking an exciting new chapter for the franchise.
For the past year, Lucas has served as a scout and analyst with Top Draft Hockey Advisory, specializing in player recruitment, identification, and long term development projection. His sharp eye for talent and analytical approach will be central to building a competitive roster in Picton.
Beyond scouting, Lucas is the active Director of Business & Hockey Operations for Hulton Hockey, the family run company known for hosting premier junior skates and development sessions in the Kingston area. Hulton enters the role immersed in the game of hockey. The son of Jim Hulton—Kingston Sports Hall of Fame inductee, longtime major junior head coach, and former NHL staff member, Lucas has grown up learning the game from the inside-out. He spent over three years working at the historic Andrews Hockey School in Prince Edward Island, further expanding his experience in player development and elite training environments.
