Construction on North Trent Street between Adelaide Street and Huffman Avenue in Frankford will begin July 13.
Beginning Monday, July 13, North Trent Street from Adelaide Street to Concession Road will be closed to through traffic. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and local traffic only. All other through traffic will be detoured using:
- Northbound traffic: west onto Adelaide Street, north onto King Drive and east onto Concession Road.
- Southbound traffic: west onto Concession Road, south onto King Drive, east onto Adelaide Street.
This closure will allow work to begin on installing a second sanitary forcemain, upsizing the underground sanitary sewer and road reconstruction, including new asphalt and curb. Construction is scheduled to be completed in late fall 2026.
Project updates and detours will be updated throughout the project as construction progresses north on North Trent Street to Huffman Avenue.
