The Belleville General Hospital Foundation has announced the fundraising results from the recent 2026 Car 4 Cancer Lottery, to help fund enhancements to cancer care across the Quinte region.
A grand total of nearly $295,000 has been raised by this year’s fundraiser.
A pair of local residents took the top prizes in the lottery. Saprina Turner of Shannonville, a staff member at Belleville General Hospital, won the grand prize: a brand-new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe. Don McColl of Frankford won the lottery’s 50/50 jackpot prize of $28,695.
The Foundation says it is especially meaningful that both winners are local residents, with the Corvette prize going to a member of the Quinte Health team, reinforcing the incredible support the Quinte community continues to show for healthcare close to home.
Funds raised through the Car4Cancer Lottery will support Cancer Care at Belleville General Hospital, helping ensure patients across the Quinte region have access to cancer treatment, and support close to home.
