One person has been charged after someone allegedly pulled out a firearm during an altercation in Belleville’s east end.
Police responded just after 9:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Two males reportedly became involved in a physical altercation and a third male intervened by pointing a firearm at the two combatants.
All three parties then fled the scene on foot.
Officers reviewed video surveillance to identify a suspect, locating him a short distance away however they did not find a firearm.
A 47-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address was arrested and charged a with:
· Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
· Pointing a firearm
He was held for a bail hearing.
