A Belleville woman was arrested and charged after allegedly assaulting her mother.
Belleville police responded to a home in the city’s north end at around 12:02 a.m. on Wednesday regarding a family dispute.
It was reported to police that a female assaulted her mother by kicking and punching her during an altercation.
Upon arrival, officers observed minor injuries to the mother.
As a result of investigation, a 22-year-old Belleville woman, was arrested and charged with:
- Assault
She was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in October.
