A woman is facing charges in connection with a theft from a business in Belleville’s north end in May.
On May 27, a store manager on Bell Boulevard reported that two individuals left without paying for merchandise.
Belleville Police identified the suspects through surveillance footage and obtained arrest warrants for both individuals.
On Monday it was reported that one of the individuals had returned to the business.
As a result, Meagan Ferguson, a 32-year-old Belleville woman of no fixed address, was arrested on the strength of the outstanding warrant for theft under $5,000 and failing to comply with a probation order X2.
She was released on an undertaking with a scheduled court date in August 2026.
