Quinte Health has announced its 2026/’27 board of directors.
The board has appointed the following executive officers for the 2026/’27 board year:
• Chair: Gary Hannaford
• Vice-Chair: Yves Savoie
• Treasurer: Steve Geist
Following three years as board chair, Lisa O’Toole has concluded her term as chair and will continue contributing to the board’s work as a director as she completes her ninth and final year of service.
During her tenure as chair, the board advanced a number of significant organizational priorities, including the launch of Quality at Quinte, Clinical Services Planning, strengthened collaboration with foundation partners, ongoing governance development and continued advocacy for sustainable healthcare services across the region.
“I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together as a board and organization, particularly our focus on quality improvement, long-term planning and building stronger partnerships,” said Lisa O’Toole. “I am grateful to everyone who has contributed to that success and honoured to have served as chair. I look forward to continuing to support the board as a director and am confident Quinte Health will continue to thrive under Gary’s leadership.”
Hannaford has served on the Quinte Health Board since 2020 and most recently held the position of vice-chair.

future, and I am excited to help advance that work.”
The board also recognized the contributions of outgoing Director Mike O’Shea, thanking him for his service and commitment to strengthening healthcare across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
