Former Quinte region lawyer Gregory Castellano will spend another 18 months and nine days in prison after pleading guilty last month to sexual assault and other charges.
He had served 524 days in custody prior to his sentencing last Friday.
Castellano pleaded to two counts of sexual assault involving two women who were drugged prior to
sexual activity, one count of distributing an intimate image without consent involving another woman and one count of failing to appear in court.
Police originally arrested him in the summer of 2024.
Castellano had his licence suspended by the Law Society of Ontario last year due to the criminal charges, as well as incidents where a client’s personal information wasn’t protected and failure to cooperate with the Society.
