The Quinte region enjoyed a much-needed soaking Thursday.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton 29 millimetres (mm) of rain
came our way.
That is a little over 1.1 inches.
However a lot more hit the area in 1984.
On June 18 of that year we received 80.8 mm, or almost 3.2 inches,
of rain, an amount that surely must have left roads, basements, and fields flooded.
