The City of Belleville is reminding residents that waste collection schedules (including garbage, recycling and organics) will change during the week of Canada Day due to the statutory holiday on Wednesday, July 1.
In a release, the city says that residents who normally receive waste collection on Tuesdays will have their collection moved to Monday.
Residents with a Wednesday collection will have their waste collected on Tuesday.
There will be no waste collection on Wednesday, July 1.
Collection schedules for Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3 will remain unchanged.
Residents are asked to place waste at the curb by 7 a.m. on their collection day to ensure pick-up.
