The pending sale of the Wellington Dukes has been approved by the Ontario Junior Hockey League and the Ontario Hockey Association.
This week the sale from Ken Clement to Andrew Gunning was approved, pending final approval between the two sides.
Gunning and his wife Nicole are the owners of Farnsworth Construction, along with Oak Hills Golf Club.
Sources not directly connected to the negotiation tell Quinte News that talks have been going well and there is hope the two sides will finalize before the end of June.
