MPP Tyler Allsopp, Mayor Neil Ellis and several councillors joined Crown Ridge Health Care Services team Tuesday to celebrate the grand opening of the expanded Westgate Lodge long-term care home in Belleville.
The new four-storey facility along Dundas Street West offers modern amenities, including a new gathering space, new kitchen, office space and fitness and physiotherapy rooms.
Westgate Lodge now has 128 units.
Following the move to the new building, the existing facility will undergo a full renovation, bringing the total number of long-term care beds to 160.
