Highway 401 east is closed between Palace Road in Napanee and County Road 4 in Odessa after a collision.
In a post to X, Ontario Provincial Police say injuries are being assessed.
A caller tells Quinte News it is believed a police cruiser was rear-ended.
OPP are asking residents to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
