Belleville police are reporting the arrest of a 15-year-old local girl linked to a pair of recent community disturbances.
Investigators say the suspect first damaged an e-scooter at a west-end park on May 30 following a verbal confrontation.
On Tuesday, the same female was involved in an altercation on South Front Street where two males were pushed and thrown to the ground.
Police used video evidence to confirm the suspect’s identity and successfully apprehended her shortly after.
The teen is now facing charges of assault and mischief, and she was held in custody for a bail hearing.
