A new book looking at the history of junior hockey in Belleville was released during a launch event on Tuesday.
Junior Hockey Giants: Local Legends Belleville is written by Belleville-based author, journalist and photographer Aaron Bell.
It features unique stories and archival photographs from the early days of the Belleville Jr. B Bobcats through the Belleville Bulls era in the OHL along with limited features of recent stars with the Belleville Senators of the American Hockey League.
It also has extended features on the 1999 OHL championship Belleville Bulls team and the 2008 team that went to the Memorial Cup.
