The City of Quinte West is ready for another season of the Quinte West Pop-ups in Centennial Park.
The Pop-ups officially open on Friday and will run until September 6.
There will be new and returning vendors, including Banana Splitz, K-Food Express, Mickaroons and Best Friends, Momo-Mentum, The Dutch Hut and The Forge Woodfired Pizza.
Again this year, the Pop-ups will feature a rotating lineup of ‘Mini Pop-Ups’ – short-term vendors offering something new every two weeks.
This year’s lineup includes: Caffeinated Squirrel Coffee, Claudia Hancott Designs, Clearview Creations, Four Paws Forward, From the Homestead, Kings Card Company & Lucky Girl Designs, Mel’s Perogies, Nails by Jewels, Peaking Pines Farm, The Soccer Shack, Taste of Ukraine, Krystin’s Korner, Magpie Munchies and Talk Sweet to Me.
Additionally, the following food trucks will be at the Pop-ups this summer: Barbacoa Boyz (seasonal) and Desi Food Co. (short-term).
In addition to delicious food and retail vendors, the Quinte West Pop-ups will feature a variety of fun, family-friendly enhancements for all ages, including live music, theme days and weekends, and lawn games throughout the summer.
Each weekend, the Pop-ups will feature live music on Saturdays from 3 to 5 p.m.
This weekend’s featured performer is Meaghan Love.
Quinte West Pop-ups hours:
- May 15 – June 28 – Friday – Sunday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Canada Day: July 1, open from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- July 2 – Sept. 6 – Thursday – Sunday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
“The Pop-ups have become a signature summer experience in Quinte West,” says Shannon Millar, Tourism Coordinator. “Opening earlier this year means more opportunities for visitors to discover local artisans and food vendors, enjoy the waterfront, and make Quinte West part of their summer plans.”
In addition to the above programming, in celebration of National Indigenous History Month, the Quinte West Pop-ups are hosting an Indigenous Artisan Fair on June 6 and 7, bringing together talented craftspeople and artists to showcase traditional beading, artwork, textiles and more. We invite visitors to join us in celebrating the work of Indigenous artisans in our region.
