All Prince Edward County schools will be closed to students and staff today, January 19, 2026, due to the forecast for blizzard conditions and dangerous travel. Students and staff should not go to school.The decision to close schools was made in consultation with the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board, Tri-Board Student Transportation Services and detailed weather forecasting information.
Families have already received an email and/or text message to let them know. Staff are being advised by their school administrator team.
