It appears the rain and warm temperatures are ending in a hurry.
Staff Meteorologist Kevin Williams.
“We’ve got two cold fronts coming through, the arctic front comes through this evening and it’s going to spit up an area of low pressure on its southern flank in Pennsylvania. That system’s going to move northeast. My experience has been systems like this typically over-perform the models, so that’s why I’ve been consistently going for more snow than my colleagues at Environment Canada.”
Wednesday evening’s low will be -10 C, however ,the high being predicted for Thursday is just -12 C.
“You wake up tomorrow (Thursday) morning and it’s a whole different world. Snow overnight (Wednesday), snow tomorrow (Thursday),enough wind to lift and drift the snow, which will become wet, than become dry and fluffy. Snowfall amounts by tomorrow (Thursday) evening, I think 10-2o centimetres, but I could see 20-30 centimetres in and near Prince Edward County by tomorrow (Thursday) evening.”
