Two people have been charged in connection with separate incidents at Belleville businesses.
Police first responded to a disturbance at an east-end business late Saturday afternoon.
An unknown male was yelling at staff and throwing items at the door.
Officers identified the male and learned there had been six calls for service that day involving the same individual causing disturbances at various businesses.
Police advised the male that he was not to return to the location, however, he ran back toward the business and into traffic.
John Crawford, a 30-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with loitering in a public place and failure to comply with a probation order.
He was held for a bail hearing.
Sunday afternoon, Belleville police responded to a business on Dundas Street West where a female had become aggressive and allegedly threatened to stab staff.
As a result of investigation, Lindsay Kellar, a 30-year-old Belleville woman of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with uttering threats.
She was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in March.
