Northumberland OPP have charged a man with impaired driving after a two-vehicle accident on Thursday.
Police, fire, and ambulance responded to the wreck on County Road 30 in Trent Hills just after 6 p.m.
No serious injuries were reported, however, both a passenger vehicle and a commercial vehicle sustained extensive damage.
After speaking with one of the involved drivers, officers began an impaired driving investigation. One of the drivers was arrested and taken to the detachment for further testing.
Lee Ferrill, a 42-year-old Campbellford man, was charged with operation while impaired, blood alcohol over 80, driving with cannabis readily available, and failure to stop at a stop sign.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
