The City of Quinte West has released its final building stats report for the City of Quinte West for 2025.
Thirty-three permits were issued for the month of December, with a construction value of $6,857,000.
Permits issued include a new equipment building being built at 692 Vermilyea Road valued at $300,000 and modifying an existing sprinkler system at 260 West Street valued at $60,000.
For the year of 2025, the City of Quinte West issued 568 building permits with a construction value of $155,586,500.
That is down from the 680 building permits issued with a construction value of $203,798,500 in 2024.
For 2025, the city received $871,932.11 in building permit fees and $3,490,198.65 in development charges.
Building permit fees are down from the previous year, but development charges are up from 2024.
