Northumberland OPP have charged a woman in connection with an investigation into reported threats.
On December 23, police received a report from a Trent Hills resident regarding unwanted communications containing threats from a family member.
The communications had reportedly been ongoing since late October.
As a result of the investigation, a 20-year-old female from Trent Hills was arrested on Tuesday and charged with:
– Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
– Harassing communications
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg in February.
The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the complainant.
