On Tuesday evening, the Ontario Junior Hockey League held its prospects championship game.
The Zach Hyman Prospects Series was whittled down to two teams, Team Red and Black who met in Brantford.
Team Red, coached by Trenton Golden Hawks Bench Boss Derek Smith, defeated Team Black 5-2.
G-Hawk Logan Bennett was named his team’s Player of the Game for picking up three assists for Red.
Liam Campbell of the Wellington Dukes also scored for Red.
The prospects series was a group of games for NCAA, NHL, and CIS scouts to see the best up-and-coming talent in the OJ.
Also in the game were former Wellington Duke Seth Vruegenhill for Team Black, while Red included Duke Royden Smith and Golden Hawks Kale Mace and Matt Hicks.
