6:30 a.m. UPDATE TUESDAY JANUARY 6–MISSING MAN HAS BEEN LOCATED SAFELY
Police request the public’s help to locate a missing 77-year-old male.
Cobourg police are currently searching for a missing male who left an address on University Avenue East earlier this past evening. The male is Robert (John), 77 years old, 5’8” tall with a thin build. It is unknown if he is dressed appropriately for the weather but could possibly be wearing a University of Toronto sweater that says “Dad” on it. Police are concerned about his safety due to the cold temperatures and inclement weather.
