An Ottawa man has been sentenced to almost two years in jail after an incident involving firearms in the Township of Cramahe in November of 2024.
OPP responded to a residence on Mitchell Road and found a victim with serious injuries.
Serguei Petrov, 41 at the time of the incident, was recently sentenced to 23 months in prison on charges of unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm and possessing a restricted firearm.
A Northumberland County woman had previously received an absolute discharge on an attempt murder charge.
