Motor Vehicle Collisions
Between 5 a.m. on December 25, 2023 and 5 a.m. on December 29, Belleville pPolice responded to 12 motor vehicle collisions. No serious injuries were reported.
As a result, two charges were laid, including:

Belleville police remind motorists to drive with extreme caution, adjust speed for conditions, and avoid unnecessary travel during severe weather events whenever possible.
Breach of Probation
On December 25, 2025 at 11:10 p.m., Belleville police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the city’s east end.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female who reported she had been in contact with a male and that a verbal dispute had occurred. Officers confirmed the female was bound by conditions to not communicative with the male.
As a result, a 36-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with failure to comply with a probation order. She was held for a bail hearing.
