The Toronto Marlies edged the Belleville Senators 4-3 in overtime on Saturday.
Mark Duarte, Arthur Kaliyev, and Lassi Thomson scored for the Senators.
The Senators opened scoring early in the first period with two unanswered goals. In the second, the Marlies came back with one goal of their own. In the third, the Marlies scored twice to take the lead, before the Senators came back for one more goal, tying the game and taking the teams to overtime. In overtime, the Marlies managed to score first, taking the game.
The Senators are back in action on Sunday Afternoon, hosting the Marlies at CAA Arena. The puck drops at 3 p.m.
