The Trenton Golden Hawks demolished the Cobourg Cougars 13-1 on Friday.
Owen Outwater, Jack Ziliotto, Mason Musclow, Joey Brehmer, Duncan Schneider, Lucas Digiantommaso,
Wyatt Gregory, Taeo Artichuk, Joshua Brady, Beckett Ewart, and Candon O’Neill scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks opened up with an explosive first period, scoring four goals back to back, while keeping the Cougars off the board. In the second, the Cougars scored their one and only for the night, while the Golden Hawks extended their lead with another two goals. In the third, the Golden Hawks continued to score, with seven unanswered goals before the game ended.
The Golden Hawks are back in action on Sunday, on the road against the Niagara Falls Canucks.
