Northumberland OPP located three stolen vehicles after stopping an eastbound tractor trailer on Highway 401
Around 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon, Peel Regional police requested assistance to conduct a traffic stop on the highway in Port Hope.
Members of the OPP Highway Safety Division and Northumberland OPP stopped the driver around 3:20 p.m. in Hamilton Township.
As a result, 64-year-old Adenawer Correa-Lima from Mississauga was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime, trafficking in stolen goods over $5,000 and driving while under suspension.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a future date.
