The victim in this week’s homicide at a home on Hastings Park Drive in Belleville was a Registered Nurse working on Quinte 6 at Belleville General Hospital.
Information shared by Quinte Health indicates 26-year-old Shannan Hickey had worked at Quinte Health since 2022.
Her Quinte 6 colleagues call Hickey, who had studied at Loyalist College and Brock University, kind and supportive.
She had aspirations of one day becoming an ICU nurse.
Thirty-year-old Tyler Donnelly is charged with second degree murder in her death.
