The Trenton Golden Hawks demolished the Aurora Tigers 13-1 on Friday night at the Dunc.
Caleb Van de Ven, Barret Joynt, Adam O’Marra, Cooper Matthews, Lucas Lapalm, Ryan Nichols, Owen Wilson, Taeo Artichuk, and Thomas Kuipers scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks started with an explosive first period, starting scoring within two minutes, and grabbing five goals over the course of the frame while denying the Tigers any. During the second frame, the Tigers slipped a goal in, but Golden Hawks grabbed six more goals of their own, building a commanding lead to go into the final frame. With two more unanswered goals in the final frame, the Golden Hawks took the win.
The Golden Hawks are back in action on Sunday, hosting the Oakville Blades.
