Traffic will be slow going on Highway 401 east near Brighton for a while this morning (Tuesday).
Around 4 a.m., a tractor trailer jack-knifed and left the highway entering the centre median.
A car attempting to avoid colliding with the transport also left the highway.
No injuries were reported but traffic will be down to one lane in the area around the County Road 26 overpass in Brighton until the tractor trailer can be removed during daylight hours this morning.
Meanwhile, in the same area at 4:30 a.m., a tractor trailer slid off Highway 401 west into a ditch. It was well off the highway.
