Northumberland OPP have charged a male following an assault in Warkworth.
Police responded to an incident at a residence late Sunday afternoon.
The victim was treated for minor injuries.
Investigation also determined the accused had consumed alcohol and was involved in a motor vehicle collision at the property.
The lone occupant was not hurt.
A 32-year-old male from Warkworth is charged with:
Assault
Mischief
Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
A further 90-day Administrative Driver Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impound was initiated as per statute.
The accused was held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
