A woman pulled from a house fire on Moira Street East Monday afternoon has died.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Ontario Fire Marshal, Belleville Fire and Emergency Services and Belleville Police.
Fire crews responded to the home, which dates back to the 1800s, around 1:30 p.m.
One person escaped on their own while firefighters located an unconscious female who was taken to hospital by Hastings Prince Edward Paramedics in critical condition.
