Construction activity in the City of Belleville last month was down over last year while year-to-date building also remains far below 2022 levels.
There were 44 permits with a $4.5 million construction value issued in November compared to 70 permits worth $20.6 million during the same month last year.
Ten of last month’s permits were for new residential construction.
Twenty-one new residential permits were signed by the city in November 2022.
Year-to-date, there has been $213.4 million worth of construction in the City o Belleville.
There was $325.6 million through the first 11 months of 2022.
So far this year construction has begun on 324 new residential units.
