Conscious Care and Support Training is taking place in Quinte West Wednesday and Thursday.
Thanks to funding from the Kay Stafford Grant, more than 100 local service providers will received certified training to support individuals who have autism or other intellectual developmental disabilities.
It is taking place at the Trent Port Marina and is being put on by Community Living Quinte West.
Improved quality of life, learning, emotional well-being and reduction in self-injuries will be focused on.
Gastrointestinal health, nutrition, neuro-feedback, and mindfulness are part of the training.
