A Belleville woman faces serious charges after a man suffered minor injuries during a domestic dispute Tuesday morning.
Police responded around 8:30 after reports of an argument at a home in the city’s west end.
The 35-year-old woman had left the residence before officers arrived. She turned herself in to the Belleville Police Service at 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.
She was charged with spousal assault, choking, and mischief.
Her name will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
