Belleville police responded to 120 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on April 22, 2026 to 5 a.m. on April 23, 2026.
On April 22, 2026 at 1:43 p.m., Belleville police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding an unwanted person. It was reported that a male attended the residence despite having conditions prohibiting communication with the tenant. It was also reported that the male had attended the residence on multiple occasions.
As a result of investigation, officers located, arrested and charged a 46-year-old Belleville man with:
· Fail to comply with a probation order
· Fail to comply with an undertaking
He was held for a bail hearing.
