PINNACLE STREET IS NOW OPEN TO TRAFFIC
Belleville Fire and Emergency Services says The Office of the Fire Marshal has concluded its investigation into the fire on Pinnacle Street and have turned the scene back over to the original owners.
Firefighters were able to confirm that no one was inside the building at the time of the blaze and that there were no fatalities.
The cause is still being determined.
The City of Belleville has been requested to sweep the road with the hope of reopening Pinnacle Street soon.
Belleville police and emergency crews were called to the stone building located at 217 Pinnacle Street around 11 p.m. Sunday and found the building to be engulfed in flames when crews arrived.
The fire has been deemed suspicious by the Belleville Fire Department’s Fire Prevention team.
