The Executive Director of the Quinte Museum of Natural History, Deanna Way, has won the 2023 Ontario Museum Association Promising Leadership Award of Excellence.
According to the Quinte Museum of Natural History, the award highlights people in the museum sector who show “outstanding potential and contribute significantly” to Ontario’s museum community.
The museum says under Way’s direction, new exhibits have been introduced, educational programs have been created, and community partnerships have been established that help to amplify the visibility of the Quinte region.
The award was presented to Way at the OMA Awards of Excellence Ceremony on October 27, 2023.
