A Belleville woman faces attempted murder, aggravated assault and related weapons charges after a man was found lying in a pool of blood on a driveway in the city’s west end Monday night.
The 22 year old man, who was suffering from several puncture wounds, was found by an off-duty police officer who was going home at around 8:30.
As a result, a 27 year old woman was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
The victim was taken to Kingston General Hospital where he is stable condition.
The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim in what’s described as an intimate partner incident.
