The Halloween Home Boo Tour showcasing festive Halloween houses throughout Quinte West begins Tuesday night.
Through October 31, residents and visitors can take the self-guided driving tour to discover haunted houses, fairy-tale forests, spooky lights, ghosts, goblins and graveyards each night from 6 – 11:30 p.m.
“The Quinte West Halloween Home Boo Tour is a great opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the spooky season. The city is looking forward to seeing the creativity displayed by our residents,” says Nick Ogden, Quinte West Special Events Coordinator.
The Halloween Home Boo Tour invites residents and visitors to explore Quinte West, discover the Halloween-themed displays and vote online for their favourite display.
Prizes will be awarded for the Spookiest Home, Most Spirited Home and to the Fan Favourite home in each ward with the most votes.
Online voting is available until Nov. 1 at quintewest.ca/BooTour.
Halloween Home Boo Tour cards listing the addresses of participating houses can be picked up at Quinte West City Hall and the Frankford Municipal Office.
The list of participating houses and a tour map are also available online at quintewest.ca/BooTour.
