There was a fatal crash in Northumberland County Monday morning.
Around 3:30 a.m., the OPP were called to Theatre Road in Hamilton Township, after a car slammed into a wall.
The lone occupant of the vehicle, a 64-year-old man from Cobourg, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed at County Road 2 while the OPP Technical Collision Investigation Team looked into the incident.
The investigation continues.
The road was reopened this morning around 9 a.m.
