Over 1000 thirsty Quinte west residents crowded the Front Street Farmers’ Market in Trenton for the annual Hops on the Water festival on Saturday.
Patrons were met with an afternoon of the best local brews and live music to drink to.
Event organizer Colleen Vickers said their brewery vendors were happy with the sales.
“We were really happy with the group we had out,” said Vickers. “Everyone was having fun and it turned out to be a beautiful day.”
The festival also included street performers, with some of the more popular acts including a pair stilt walkers dressed in giraffe costumes, and Tex Rexman, who performed a cowboy-themed act with fire.
