An open house is taking place at Quinte West Fire Station 1 to wrap up Quinte West Fire Prevention Week.
The free open house will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The theme for this year’s open house focuses on cooking safety where kids and families will learn more about cooking safety and overall fire prevention.
Those taking part will enjoy fire station tours, live demonstrations, an opportunity to view emergency service vehicles and free hot dogs.
