Nearly $60,000 was raised from the Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon on Wednesday.
Executive Director of The Children’s Foundation, Melanie Cressman, thanked all who took part in the event.
Nine local radio stations took part including Quinte Broadcasting Co. stations CJBQ, MIX97, and ROCK107.
All monies raised in the Radiothon will help support various programs offered to disadvantaged children throughout the region by the Foundation.
Those include Playing for Keeps, Camps of Hope, bursaries, Keep Baby Safe, and Helping Hands.
