Central Hastings OPP have released more information following the arrests of two people Friday afternoon in Tweed.
Police were called to investigate a break and enter in the area on Wednesday.
On Friday, members of the OPP Community Street Crime Unit, assisted by the Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, and Aviation Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on East Hungerford Road in Tweed and seized several weapons.
Two individuals were then arrested in the area of the Valu-Mart grocery store in Tweed while a third person fled and has yet to be apprehended.
Devon Dunkley and Rachel Sweet, both 27-years-old and from Tweed each face multiple charges including:
· Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking,
· Possession of a Schedule III substance,
· Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon,
· Unauthorized possession of a weapon,
· Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition,
· Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 and
· Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.
Sweet was additionally charged with Fail to comply with probation order.
Both were held for a bail hearing.
OPP are currently looking for 29-year-old Tanner Sweet of Tweed.
