There was a serious crash east of Napanee on Hwy 401 Monday night.
Just before 7 p.m., emergency crews responded near the Camden East exit of the 401 in the eastbound lanes.
There was a crash between a big rig and an SUV.
The transport was travelling west when it left the road, crossing the centre median and into the eastbound lanes.
The SUV was travelling east and had to swerve to avoid hitting the transport truck.
Three people are reported to have injuries and the driver of the transport truck was charged with careless driving and unsafe move.
The highway was reopened around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning.
